“Sophie Eats Out” has basically died and been re-incarnated as “Sophie Eats In due to lack of funds” over on instagram. Highlights include todays dinner (Parma ham, squash and ricotta on a baby leaf salad) and kale pizza.
Since all I have eaten for the last week or so is rice, fruit, vegetables and raw food bars (and also some chocolate) I decided to let myself in for a “treat” as a “pre new york test” to see how I would handle burgers. So I ate this which is possibly the BEST BURGER I HAVE EVER EATEN. This may have been influenced by the sad food I’ve been eating for the last week but maybe not. I got it from The Saracen’s Head in Beaconsfield, I would say go there if you are ever anywhere near there.
For the next 3 (or so) weeks I am not allowed to eat anything I really like according to the pretty doctor who felt my belly yesterday. Things I like but can not eat include : gluten/wheat, spicy food, alcohol, mayonnaise, anything high in fat, red meat, anything high in sugar, fizzy drinks, just generally anything unhealthy. I’m basically on a diet even though I totally don’t want to be but whatevs, great pre ny detox.
More meat liquor, this time some kind of chilli wrapped in bread (half killed me) and some wings with deep fried pickles.
today would have been really great if i hadn’t eaten that half a pizza. days off with no money are so boring i’m glad i went food shopping yesterday.
